 This Year on 4-8 of July in Vilnius (near Zemynos Gymniasium), Ciobiskio Street 16 will take place Youth (girls) EuroHockey (U-16) Championship II, where participate national teams from Austria, Ukraine, Belarus, Croatia and Lithuania.
   At the same time in Valencia (Spain) and Wattignies (France) will host Youth (girls) EuroHockey (U-16) Championship I and Championship III.
   European Youth U-16 girls' hockey championship (II) of the participating national teams fighting for a single voucher for elite group - the championship (I).
   It is important to note that in 2003 in Siauliai were first held in the Youth U-16 girls' hockey championship, which was attended by elite teams, including Lithuania.
   In 2009 in Vilnius (near Zemynos Gymniasium) was held in European countries, men's club hockey challenge tournament, which represented the country in Vilnius SZK "Zuvedra" (3rd place) and Vilnius "Ardas-Rudamina (5th place).

   In 2012 National Youth U-16 girls hockey team representing five Vilnius SZK "Zuvedra" club members, 5 Siauliai SM "Klevas" members, 5 Kelme SM" Kelme "and 4 SM Sirvintos States members.
   Teams' first coach is Maksim Tarasov, which is Vilnius SZK "Zuvedra" coach and the player of Sirvintu "Inta-Baltic-Champingnons".
   Assistant coach - one of the country's best hockey player - Dovile Jakaite, who played the past three years, the Belgian top hockey league "Barxata".
   The team also assisted video analysis expert, the country's men's national team player - Jaroslav Suchocki.
